  Is Jehovah Telling the Governing Body to Shut Down?

  is the governing body haunted by the thought that jehovah is telling them no and shut down?.

  rutherford is reported to have sought cash and rationed coal as a test of jehovah's will.

  knorr reported on getting an unexpected windfall of cash when they sought to buy the towers hotel.. but from where i sit, jehovah seems to have become very ungenerous towards these would-be theocrats, in recent years.. they dumped subscriptions.. they cut literature.. they went to paperbacks.. they cut magazines, by my count, for the third time.. they laid off bethelites.. they sold off brooklyn buildings.. they sold off printing/binding equipment.. so, now their latest 'litmus test' of jehovah's will is to simply dump the magazines in one lump and tell people to only take what they need.

  he see's even "the embryo of us"..."and all it's parts are down in writting.." according to the bible.

  yet he will destroy millions of kids and babies because their "worldly" parents closed the door on a witness one busy saturday morning..

  just watching some "twighlight zone" t.v shows from the 1960's - 1980's i realized how paranoid about nuclear holocust people were....evry second episode!...a showdown between the soviets and the west was coming soon.

  in 2010 china and the usa are economic best buddies, nuclear disbandanment is all the rage...and communism is dead.

  funny how enemies change.

  Just watching some "Twighlight Zone" T.V shows from the 1960's - 1980's I realized how paranoid about Nuclear holocust people were....evry second episode!...A showdown between the Soviets and the West was COMING SOON. In 2010 China and the USA are economic best buddies, Nuclear disbandanment is all the rage...and Communism is dead. Funny how enemies change. This was a huge blow to the preaching work with no "King of the North" and "South" to push each other to Armagedon.

  1975 - 2,179,256 (up by 157,000 wow}.

  1978 - 2,182,341 {down by 41,197} .........total loss of around 70,000.

  I think a better figure of those leaving after 1975 would be between 100-150,000 publishers when you see a yearly average increase of 100-200,000.....I just gave the offical Yearbook figures.....for the society to publish an offical semi-apology, it must have been huge!!!!!!

  "Oldhippy".......WTF man! Your figures are all messed up. Think of the thousands of new publisher coming in like my Mother who was studying in 1976. {And was never told about the 75 "mix up"} There were at least 3,000 publishers in AUSTRALIA alone who left!....I know many of them. For many years the Watchtower bucket had a huge hole in it....but the kept filling it with new ignorant publishers. The same loss happened in 1925 when a HUGE dip occured in publisher figures.....not due to mass deaths though!!!!!!

  1979- 2,186,075 {up by ONLY 3,734 lowest increase ever}

  Yearbook 1980 had an apology from the Governing body on page 30-31 ".........the Society accepts SOME of the responsibilty for the disapointment felt regarding the year 1975....."

  Many faithful longtime Brothers left the "truth" forever after 1975....yet the society accepted "some" of the responsibilty...so who ELSE was to blame???? They were only following instructions from them! No one or two Brothers went out on a limb making huge claims about Armagedon in 1975...they ALL did! You would be disfellowshipped if you started making your own speculations.....unless your name is Fredrick Franz.

  In my Cong. you start a "normal" conversation like....I complimented a brother on having 8 Grandchildren....he got a sad look in his eye and said:"Yeah, well I wish it was IN THE NEW SYSTEM." {I guess they are all doomed to destruction} I HONESTLY was stumped. I had nothing more to say to that. Sister G_____ is very sick but...."Weeell, the New system is almost here." {Okay so I won't bring over that chicken soup let Jehovah do it}

  An Elder had the door slammed on him in Witnessing and said he hopes at Armagedon they live long enough to remember slamming the door on him and rejecting the good news....WTF!

  Everyone has a "Hitler youth" glazed eyes look, like those women in Nazi Germany parade footage.....saying "THE NEW SYSTEM IS ALMOST HERE!!!"

  Impossible to have a normal conversation when someone is drugged up on religious "Opium."

  when you agree like a robot to everything the watchtower says.....{read...underline.....give comment.....repeat} like prostitutes who adore you when your "paying" ...if the money stops flowing they are gone!

  people you've known for 15 years....you took them to hospital....lent them money.....grieved with them....gone.

When you agree like a Robot to everything the Watchtower says.....{Read...underline.....give comment.....repeat} Like Prostitutes who adore you when your "paying" ...if the money stops flowing they are GONE! People you've known for 15 years....you took them to hospital....lent them money.....grieved with them....GONE. And all I said was "I don't agree with the blood fractions doctrine!!"   Yeabook 2010 cover up -Rutherford's false prophecy that Armagedon was coming in 1925....half the Publishers leave the truth!

  this years yearbook covers "albainia" as i read these experiences i get to around 1920-25 and i notice that 3 or 4 healthy congregations turn into just 13-14 publishers by 1926 after "a time of trouble.

  " although not mentioned this "trouble" was rutherford's "millions now living will never die" campaign with the watchtower saying armagedon was coming in 1925. most european congregations by 1926 lost whole congregations with only 3-10 "faithful " remaining {e.g poland, romania yearbook experiences} notice how the graph starts from the 1940's to avoid and cover up showing the flat lined publisher figures after 1925.....{notice also dips after 1975}.

  however, check out the 2006 yearbook page 80. romania graph, and you see a flat lined publisher figure at 1926. the witnesses had to start from scratch.

  They white wash and sugar coat false predictions.....I myself was SHOCKED to learn about the 1925 false prediction even though I had read all the yearbooks and Pubs. I got the impression it was the idiot Publishers who got it wrong, not the holy "faithful" slave.
